Who Influences Me on Social Media?

An influencer I’ve grown to love lately are both Tik Tok stars! Two of them, to be precise. Remi Bader and Logan Rae Hill are two influencers on Tik Tok who promote size inclusivity and are passionate about their bodies and showing girls of all ages that having “larger” bodies are perfectly okay and normal. One of them lives in Los Angeles, whereas the other lives in New York City — both places of fashion and places where being your true self matters and is valued.

The two women combined focus on various sizes from size 6 and 8 to Remi trying on size 10 and 12 clothing items. While Remi focuses her content on realistic try-on hauls, Logan Rae is known to focus her content on how certain brands look on her body, a mixture of sizes 6 and 8. In some videos, both women have collaborated with other “influencers” and have shown what other sizes look like on them. I have always appreciated the transparency when it comes to a topic that so many young women seem to be focused on.

Especially nowadays, I feel that having these voices speak out about sizes and accepting that our bodies do change during stressful times like these is very important. As someone who’s lived with another person who has an ED, it’s important to have these conversations about sizes and recovery. Both women have had an ED in the past, which helps their credibility, I think. Logan also stretches her content out to what she eats during a day as a size 6/8 and I’ve gathered some very creative meals for my family from her. Not all meals have been appreciated though!

As I mentioned before, these creators are both very transparent about their sizes and their mental health. Given that tik tok blew up during the pandemic, both women have mentioned having had a few breakdowns, weight gains, and other mental issues happen during this stressful period. As someone who appreciates fashion and learning, I’ve enjoyed both women’s content and believe that only good things can come from their pages.
